More Pictures 5 Month Old Evan!

Staring at the bear with a new truck in his hand.
Evan loves to play with his toes.  He's always trying to grab them.  Socks are now a thing of the past for two reasons:  1)  It is already freaking hot in Texas and 2) He can pull them off.  Check out his cool Hawaiian shirt from Grandpa Max and Grandma Candi!
These are the new lion cubs at our zoo.  They have really big paws and Evan loved to watch them play!
We've got quite the eater on our hands.  Evan has liked everything that he's tried - rice cereal, green beans, peas, yellow squash, butternut squash, zucchini, sweet potatoes and carrots.  He smiles just like this pretty much the whole time you are shoveling it in.  Our next venture will be avocado and then probably bananas.

5 Months!

It is really hard for us to believe that our sweet baby is already 5 months old!  Evan is developing quite the personality and loving the solid foods.  He's turning on both of his sides, not quite to his tummy yet.  He's really good at letting you know when he's hungry or tired.  We're simply loving it!  Every second!

Playing with Daddy after a long day at "work".
Yummy peas!
Maybe he'll start doing chin ups some day soon!
He loves his fist, fingers, anything that will fit!  Maybe we'll see a tooth soon?
This is simply Evan.  He's usually pretty happy unless he's tired or hungry!
He loves to blow "raspberries".  It is also another way for him to communicate with us besides crying.  So we think that it means more, tired, pick me up, etc.
Staring down the sun on his exersaucer...and he can finally touch the bottom.  He loves the saucer at Ms. Irene's too...maybe that is why he has been so tired in the evenings this week!

Wildflowers in Bloom!

Horseshoe Bay - Evan's First Vacation!

This weekend we went to Horseshoe Bay in Hill Country with  Grandma and Grandpap Hrach for Evan's first vacation.  He was a trooper.  The car rides went really well and he slept great at the hotel.  He took it all in.  Here are some pictures.

On our walk around the resort, he was more interested in what was on the ground than anything!
Momma and baby ducklings.
Looking at the birds.
He can do it.  Officially for short periods of time, Evan can hold his own bottle.
All smiles before the worst bath in history.  If you want the full story, ask Evan's Mom or Dad.

Funny Pics

Evan stayed with  Grandma and Grandpap on Thursday while Mommy went to work.  He was super tired by the end of the day.  He couldn't even hold his head up after his evening bottle!
Dad...I've had enough!

More fun with Sir Charles!

Ever since Evan was born, Brian and I have called him Sir Charles, since Charles is his middle name.  Anyway, here are some more pictures of our sweet Sir Charles!

Evan loves when you sing to him.  Here he is listening to Daddy.
He can reach his toes and if he's in the right position (usually on the changing table), he can put them in his mouth!
Evan loves the colors on WWE...and Brian uses it as an excuse to catch a few minutes!
Evan is still a fantastic Target shopper.  This weekend he fell asleep on the drive home.

Squash and Zucchini!

Day 1...definitely not a fan of the squash...it was all over everything.
Day 2...he loves the stuff, tries to help and makes Mommy's favorite chubby cheeks face!
Day 1 with zucchini...not a fan.  Day 2 (Monday...today) we're sad to report he is still not a fan.  Still have a few more tries before we give up!

Look What I Can Do!

I think that I can hold my own bottle.  Mom and Dad are too proud to tell me the truth.

Watch me Mommy!
I can roll onto my side.  I love to do this.  I kick my legs up high and just roll.  I'm going to be mad mad mad when I roll onto my tummy someday soon!
Oh, I'm so proud of myself!  I'll give myself an "Ahhhhhhh!" (my new really loud sound) for that!

Evan's First Easter Weekend

Kicked off Good Friday with a Skyping session with Grandma and Grandpap.  Don't you love his ears?
Is that Evan or the Easter Bunny?
Look what the Easter Bunny brought for Mommy and Daddy!
After church.  Yes that is a searsucker suit!
Too much Easter!
