Swimming in San Antonio

We went to the San Antonio Zoo and Sea World, but my favorite thing to do on our trip to San Antonio was to swim in the hotel pool.

Check out my swimmers!

Kristi, Jacob (2 years), Benjamin (4 years)

Getting "All Dry".  The pool was quite chilly and I kept getting in and out.  It was driving my Daddy crazy.  When pizza arrived for dinner, I was hungry.  I ate three big breadsticks!

Sea World

For Memorial Day weekend, we met my Mommy's best friend, Kristi and her family in San Antonio.  It was a lot of fun to meet and play with Benjamin and Jacob even though I was in a bad mood most of the weekend.

On Sunday we went to Sea World.  Our family only made it until noon, but I still had some cool experiences.

Checking out the dolphins!

Abby was such a trooper the entire weekend.  And it was a hot one for her.

I loved watching the roller coaster.  Mommy and Daddy think that I'll probably be a roller coaster junkie when I get older.  I must have watched it 50 times!

And contemplated the physics and engineering behind it, making my Mommy quite proud.

Then it was time to play in the Sesame Street area.  I liked the water stuff, but really loved the elevated tunnels and slides.  I wasn't scared in the slightest.

Then it was time to meet Cookie Monster.  I couldn't wait to get up to see him...

But when I did, I wanted to go somewhere else!

Every little kid has a picture like this, right???

Art Car Parade

Houston is known for the Art Car Parade.  Well a small piece of that came to Victoria a few weekends ago thanks to the hard work of our good friend Maggie from church.  It was super cool and Evan loved it.

Yes, that is a cockroach!

This was definitely Evan's favorite. The Navy plane lifted up and down on the truck.

A Trip to the Park

We took a trip to the park while Pap Pap and Grandma were here.  Abby hung out in the Baby Bjorn.  And yes...you will see...she can sleep in it!

Pap-pap pushed Evan on the swing for about 30 minutes while he was watching the other kids.  Evan is quite the observer.

What a sweet baby.  Isn't she getting big????

Abigail's Baptism

Abigail was baptized on May 20, 2012.  Rev. Kathryn Morton performed the baptism.  Evan got to come into church to be a part of it all.  He looked on with amazement.

Naps with Pap-pap

Abby has been taking two naps most days over the last month.  One around 9 am and the other around 12:30 or 1 pm.  However, some days, she wakes up from the afternoon one too early and goes through what we affectionately call the witching hour.  When Pap-pap was here, he had duty during this time and managed to get her to sneak in a short rest!

Fun with Mommy!

Bet you didn't know that Mommy is hilarious???

Her hair is looking redder by the day!

Evan watched way too much TV when he was home with Abby and me.  It was the only way to survive the time I had them both all day when I had to nurse Abby.  I really enjoyed my time with my sweet boy, but thank goodness he's back in daycare now :)

This is how I found him one day after nap.  At the foot board and curled up in a ball!

Sweet Valentine Dress

Stay with me on this one...  When Abby was born, my best friend since first grade brother's wife who is very talented made this sweet dress with a heart pocket for Abigail.  Abby looked so darn cute wearing it and was quite smiley for her photo shoot.

Houston Children's Museum

Daddy took a couple of days off of work a couple of weeks ago.  We spent the night in Houston.  I got to swim in the big hotel pool.  I jumped off the edge about 100 times.  I slept quite well that night in the big boy hotel bed (first time in a big boy bed at a hotel!).  The next morning, we went to the Houston Children's Museum.   I love this place!  I even ventured out of tot spot for the first time this visit.  I cannot wait to go back!
