New Toy for a Big Boy!
We bought Evan this new workbench since he's sitting up very well now. He loves to play with it and already has the lever on the drill figured out.

DA's Office Kiddos
A couple of weeks ago, all the DA's office kiddos were invited to take a picture together for Steve's upcoming campaign. Here is the picture. Evan couldn't help but to play with Clayton's ears...and no...there wasn't one shot where Evan was looking at the camera!

On Friday, Evan fell asleep on the way home from Ms. Irene's. He must have been exhausted because it is only a 5 minute trip. Poor baby!

Looks What I Can Do!
It has been a big couple of days at the Hrach house. Yesterday Evan rolled from his back to his belly for the first time. He has come super close before but isn't really a fan of his belly, so he'll usually stop himself before flipping the entire way. He's been flipping from belly to back for weeks now, so we knew it was just a matter of time!
Evan can also sit up for long periods of time on his own. Amazing how fast he's changing!

Time to Hit the Gym!
Evan still LOVES his gym. I never thought that this would provide so many hours of entertainment. His actions have become a bit more agressive than they were 6 months ago (see bottom picture!). He loves to kick the thing that plays music when you touch it and loves to grab onto everything at once, including something between his toes. Yes, Grandpa Max, he does have talented toes!
Evan Likes His Groceries!
Even though our dude is quite small for his age, he loves to eat. He must have his dad's great metabolism. Oh and prunes look like chocolate sauce on a baby's face...and the stains from them are impossible to get out!

One Big Mess!
After dinner one night this week, Evan went to town creating a mess. Too stinking cute! He ended up licking the bowl. He is the President of the Neighborhood Watch Committee...he's always staring out the window to see what is going on outside as he eats.

Poor Baby Evan
So Evan is having a rough weekend. On Thursday night, he woke up because he was so congested. He hasn't woken up in the middle of the night for a couple of months now. On Friday, we went to the doctor for his 6 month shots (he got 5 and one oral). We also had the doctor check out his congestion (he gave us some medicine and said it is likely allergies) and his rash. So...Evan has a really bad heat rash all over his body, congestion, and on top of it, he got 5 shots. We think he's on the mend this morning. We've seen more smiles this morning than we did on Friday and Saturday combined. Poor baby!
Daddy's birthday was Friday. Evan helped him open his present on Saturday morning. It was a Playstation Game...FIFA Soccer 2010!
We got out a new toy since our little dude wasn't feeling well. Here he is with his penguin. He's not quite sure what to think yet. The penguin makes noises when you move him, sorta like a talking punching bag.
We hope he feels better soon!
Sippy Cup Time!
We've started to give Evan a sippy cup with water during his meals. He really isn't sure about what do with it, but he has figured out how to hold it and has the concept down that it needs to go to his mouth. The rest will come in good time we're sure!
