22 Months!

Evan will be 22 months tomorrow.  Really hard to believe.  In early celebration of his second birthday, we bought him a trike.  He doesn't really like to ride it, but enjoys pushing it around the house.

Just like Mommy...his face turns bright red after some hard playing outside.

Trying to pick the best book to read before bed.  Don't worry...we typically read 5 or 6!

So sweet giving hugs to Daddy before bed.  This is Mommy and Daddy's new favorite night time ritual.

Evan LOVES to be outside.

Funny faces!

Handstands...ok...just tripods for now!

San Antonio Zoo and My First Train Ride!

For Labor Day weekend, Mom and Dad took me on a trip to San Antonio.  We got up really early one morning and went to the zoo.  It was so much fun.  And we got there before it got hot and before all the other people got there, so I had a blast running around!  And after we were done at the zoo, Mom and Dad learned that I can eat an entire Chicken McNugget Happy Meal from McDonald's...plus an extra nugget.

At the zoo, we also got to take my first train ride.  It was short and sweet...just the right length for a little guy like me.  I can't wait to go back and ride again someday!

Sprinkler Fun

One Saturday, Daddy was watering the lawn.  Mommy and I had just gotten back from an early morning walk.  I took off running, headed straight for the sprinkler.  I had a ball...and I took a really good nap that day too!

Evan Being Evan

Just chillin' watching some Elmo.

Goofing with Daddy before bed.

Yum...one of my new favorites is spaghetti.  Notice that the corn is untouched.  I still have yet to pick up and eat a vegetable for my parents.

Playing in Mommy's cabinet in the bathroom.  It is like a Target store under there.  So much fun.  I'm disappointed that I don't know how to open up any of the bottles yet.  When I do, I'm sure the mess will be even more fun.

Two Funny Evan Stories

We've been pretty busy here recently.  I'll post some more pictures this weekend but had to share two funny Evan stories.

1)  One night last week, somehow between stripping Evan's diaper and getting him in the tub (matter of seconds) he took a dump on the floor of his room and left poop prints all the way to the tub. Stupid Mommy and Daddy didn't realize it until he was in the tub. Ahhh the things that would have been totally gross 2 years ago...oh wait...it still is "completely foul" as Brian told Evan that night.  Brian and I laughed about it all night...after we cleaned it up.

2)  Evan knows quite a few of his body parts now.  When you ask him where his elbow is, he points to his shoulder and says "ELMO!".

This little one is a laugh a minute I tell you!
