Evan's Second Easter

I had a great second Easter!  I got a lot of really good loot from the Easter Bunny.  There were a couple of strange things though - the movie - Tangled - was already opened.  I had also tried out most of the stuff the day before on my big plane ride home.  I guess the Easter Bunny knew that I liked it after my trial on the plane.

I was sooooo happy to be home.  Here I am in all my glory at 8 am on Easter morning.  I'm watching Mickey Mouse and check out how many toys I managed to get out in about 45 minutes!

Hanging Out in Missouri

Here are the rest of the pictures of my fun trip to Missouri.  This is one of my new favorite poses!

I had so much fun at this park...until I had a mini breakdown.  But Grandpa pushed me really high in this swing and I just smiled the whole time!

I discovered a new sport while in Missouri...Blanket Wrestling.  This tradition has continued at home in Texas too.  For some reason, the blanket always seems to win.  But I keep going back for more!

Another fun swing!  Check out my sign for hat!  So cute.  Grandpa Max kept having to put on and take off his hat at Evan's request.  Those two were too funny.

Sidewalk Chalk!

Grandma Candi bought me some sidewalk chalk to play with when I was in Missouri.  I loved it!  We were seriously outside for almost 2 hours playing with it and the water hose.

Then I played with the hose.  I got pretty soaked!

I don't think that there was really that much chalk on the driveway when I was done.  It was all on my pants!

Going Bonkers!

Grandma Candi and Grandpa Max have this awesome place by their house called Going Bonkers!  It is totally awesome for a rainy or a cold day.  It just has a bunch of things to climb on, slides to go down, basically it is a little kid's dream world.  Here I am playing in the tot section.  When I go back next time, I don't think I'll be so timid.  I did just start walking 2 months ago, ya know?!?

My hair in a word...AWESOME!

I even got to ride in this cool car with zoo animals.  To be totally honest, I liked to sit in it without it moving way more!

Grandma Candi named the three animals in the car over and over again for me when I pointed to them. 

I didn't like the NASCAR car as much as the zoo one.

MIZZOU-RAH

I made a really big trip last week.  Mommy and Daddy took me to my Grandpa Max and Grandma Candi's house in Missouri for the week.  We did so many fun things.  There are more blog entries to follow this one Mommy says. 

The first day we were there, I completed my first college tour.  I'm still not sure that my Grandpa Max's alma mater (Grandma Candi's too for her master's) is what I'm looking for.  I'm still evaluating my options with the hopes to my a decision around February (2027).  I loved the freedom of the free roaming area but mostly I loved the steps.  Mommy loved the tulips and the budding trees.  Here are the pictures of our adventure.



The columns...the first administrative building at MU caught fire a long time ago and Grandpa Max said this was all that was left.  The new admin building is right behind them.

As you can tell, I'm not afraid to go off on my own.

I seriously didn't even notice the columns and how tall they were.  Maybe they were too big?

Then I completed the tour of steps on the MU campus.  At first I thought the Engineering building's were the best but a professor came out of the door and scared me.

So I decided the ones at Jesse Hall were the best.

Then I had a stare down with a big fat squirrel (Mommy said it was almost as fat as the ones that live on the Penn State campus!).

Ahhh...spring blooms.  We don't see many of those in Texas!

Easter Card

Evan has discovered the joy of snail mail.  He was so excited to get his Elmo Easter card from Grandma and Grandpap!  He carried it around for about 5 minutes, which is quite a long time for him!
