Pictures from Pap-pap and Grandma's Camera

Here are some pictures from Pap-pap and Grandma's camera.

Giving the "cheese" face before a trip to the zoo.

Pap-pap working in a nap with Abby.

Not sure how this was comfy for Abby, but she slept like this for over an hour.

First time in her crib.  Happy to report that her crib is going really well now.  She typically gives us one 5 to 6 hour stretch every night.  Ahhh.  And she takes some naps in there during the day too.

In this picture, Abby looks just like her Momma did when she was a baby...hair even looks a little red.  Scary...it is like looking at myself 32 years ago.

Evan and Daddy hanging out watching some "Fi-fi" (TV).

These two have become quite attached recently.  Last night before his bath, Evan told me "Momma Abby" because Daddy was holding Abby and he wanted Daddy to give him his bath.

This one probably wins as the ultimate cheese face!

Victoria Livestock Show

We took our first big family outing since Abby was born to the Victoria Livestock Show.  Grandma and Grandpap came along to help.  We also got to go to lunch at Chick Fila afterwards.  Here I am at the petting zoo.  I didn't want to touch the pigs.

But I loved dragging my feet along in the straw and cow manure.

It is hard to catch me with a normal smile these days.  I always want to make the cheese face when I see the camera.

I liked the ducks and chicks.

I even touched them!

Ahh, our first family outing.

Weekend Mornings

On this weekend morning (Saturday March 3rd), we were greeted with Abby's first smile (we think).  It was earlier than 1 month (more like 3 weeks), but she's always been advanced!  She kept grinning all day so I don't think it was just gas or by accident.  She smiles a lot now.  More pictures of her precious smile to come!

Stare down with her pink elephant.  I've named him Boo for her already.

Her poor right eye had a blocked tear duct that we fought for a good two weeks.  It is all cleared up now, but that eye looked pretty sad from time to time over the course of those couple of weeks.

Grandma and Abby snoozing.

Definitely a little escape artist!

Snoozing with Daddy while Mommy and Evan were playing.  We have a similar picture with Evan and Brian so I had to share.

Evan and the "Big Trucks"

One crazy Sunday, it was actually cold in Texas.  So when I woke up, I put on my ROMA sweatsuit from Grandpa Max and Grandma Candi's trip there last year.

After church, I got a special treat...a cheeseburger Happy Meal.  I ate all but two bites of my "sandwich" as I call it.  And seriously, they put apples in Happy Meals now?  Mom and Dad were shocked.  Of course, I didn't eat any of them.  And seriously, there are only like 10 fries in a Happy Meal now.  Things have changed since Mommy and Daddy were little.

Grandma Candi held Abby while she was sleeping the entire time we were at church.  Abby's favorite sleeping position is with her head at a 90 degree angle to her body.

Then it was time to play "BIG TRUCKS".  Daddy held Abby.

I wore my winter hat.  It was cold...but probably not cold enough that I needed the hat.  So here's the game.  I have this "BIG TRUCK" from the dollar spot at Target that I roll under Daddy's car.  Our driveway is sloped so it rolls all the way down.

And I run down the driveway and catch it while Grandma Candi cracks up.  Repeat about a thousand times...for about an hour.  Needless to say, the cheeseburger was quickly burned off!

Here I am running down the driveway.

Oh my goodness I am so darn cute.

One Crazy Weekend

Weekends are a bit crazier around here now that my baby sister Abby has arrived.  Here are some pictures from a few weekends ago:

I love string cheese.  One night he ate 3 pieces of string cheese for dinner.  Hey, whatever works!

I play like a crazy toddler and Abby sleeps and sleeps.

Dancing...

Talking to Pap Pap and Grandma on Skype.

I'm so darn cute...Mommy can hardly stand it.  Gotta love the hair.  It never goes down all day unless you put some water on it.

Wrestling with Grandma Candi.  She loves to tickle me!

Checking out what Abby is up to.  Likely saying "Hi Abby!".  I say that a lot!  I'm such a good big brother.

Three Silly Two Year Old Evan Stories

First, we made it 27 months, but Evan wouldn't let us make it 28.  Last night Evan took his first dump in the bathtub.  And because of this, he got to learn the word "nasty" from Mom & Dad.  And we taught him the phrase "poop in the potty", which of course he has never done.  Ahh...the milestones!

Second, yesterday after his nap, he said "animals, zoo".  It was rainy so we had to tell him that we couldn't go see the animals.  Then he said "museum".  He had just been there Saturday morning with his Daddy, so that was out too.  Finally he threw out "church".  We had to tell him that we couldn't go to church until tomorrow.  After all this it was obvious that he wanted to go somewhere, so Daddy and Pap-Pap took him to Target and bought him a new "big truck" which is really a little truck, but that is a whole other story.

Third, yesterday for lunch after the museum, Daddy and Evan picked up some Chick Fila.  As we were eating lunch, Grandma held up the Chick Fila bag and asked Evan what it said.  He said "french fries".  Everyone just cracked up.
