Good Times in the New House!

Evan has acquired a new skill at his new school.  He can drink from a big boy cup!  He hardly ever spills.  Grandma Candi was so proud that she sent him about 8 new big boy cups that are now know as Grandma Candi Cups.

Enjoying a french fry in the car on the way home from the park.

Evan LOVES the swimming pool in our new neighborhood.  It is still open on the weekends for September.  He's going to miss going this winter.

Abby enjoys it too.  She giggles and splashes the whole time she is in the water.

Chlorine eyes.

She really is this happy almost all the time.

These aren't the best pictures of our princess, but she sat up in the cart at Target for the first time today!

Teething much???

Some Favorites from the Past Few Months

The Big Move

We're back...from a different place!  The past three months have been more than crazy around the Hrach house.  Mommy went back to work from maternity leave on June 4th.  On June 6th, she announced to her work group that she had accepted a new role as as the Production Leader of the Vinyl Acetate unit Dow operates in Texas City, TX (Texas City is close to Houston/Galveston).

So, in June our Victoria house went on the market.  The week of July 4th, Pap-pap and Grandma Hrach came so Mommy and Daddy could go look for a new house.  We bought a great house in Friendswood, TX.  That same trip, Daddy interviewed for and subsequently got a job at the Brazoria County District Attorney's Office in Angleton, TX.  In the middle of July, we got an offer on our Victoria house which we accepted.  On July 30th, Daddy started his new job.  Luckily for Mommy, Grandma Candi came down on July 29th to help out for the two weeks that Daddy was in Houston and Mommy was still in Victoria.  Mommy and Daddy closed on the new house on August 10th and we moved the week of August 13th.  Like I said...CRAZY!

My sister and I love our new house.  There is lots of room to play.  Mommy said she would do a whole post soon about the house after she has a chance to organize it a little bit better.  Abby and I also LOVE our new school.  We are going to the Goddard School which is just a few miles from our house.  I get to play outside twice every day, which I LOVE!  We also got to go to a new church.  It is actually Mommy and Daddy's old church from when they lived in the Houston area before they had kids.  I LOVE it there too.  They have some cool diggers that I get to play with every week.  Mommy and Daddy are liking their new jobs, but they are both very busy at work right now.

Our family has been so blessed over the last several months.

Here is a picture of my new house:

We have a super cool porch on my new house.  Here are Abby and I rocking in the rocking chairs this morning.

Abby is almost 7 months old!   She can officially sit up by herself.  She loves her solids.  She loves to read books.  Her favorite activity by far though is watching me run around like a crazy almost 3 year old!.  As Grandpa Max says, she is in the "just happy to be here club".  She very rarely is a bad mood.  Oh and she LOVES to eat.  Much more than I ever did.  She loves solids and her milk.  She's probably over 18 lbs now...just for reference I was about 18 lbs when I turned one!  What a blessing she has been to our family!

And here is me!  I will turn three the Monday after Thanksgiving (less than 3 months away).  I am finally through the worst of the terrible twos.  I talk constantly.  Life is an on going commentary from me.  I love my baby sister and am usually very gentle around her.  I love to play diggers right now and I love to go places like church, the grocery store and Target.  I still love to read books. Right now I really like the "Little Blue Truck" books.  Mommy and Daddy are happy that I like to read books with plots now!  I love to eat french fries, fruit snacks, Cheerios and chicken nuggets.  I'm somewhat less picky than I was a few months ago, but still have toddler taste buds.  Mommy and Daddy thank God for me every day and feel blessed that they were entrusted with me!
