"If You're Happy and You Know It" Video

Abby is 2 months!

Our sweet little Valentine is 2 months old!  At her two month doctor's appointment, Abby weighed 12 lbs 3 oz and was 21.5 inches long.  She's in the 75th percentile for weight and only 20th for height.  In other words, this girl likes her groceries!  She took her 3 shots like a champ...just cried as she was getting poked with each of them.  She is such a sweet baby...we are truly blessed. 

Her sleeping is wonderful.  She typically goes down around 7:30 pm with Evan and wakes up between 2 and 3 am to eat and then goes back down until 6:30 or 7 am.  During the day, she typically takes about 4 naps, the longest one coming at around 10:30 or 11 am and lasting usually 2 or 2.5 hours. 

She LOVES to smile.  There was a point in time where her Grandpa Max was wondering if she ever cried.  I had to assure him that she did.  She typically only cries when she is tired or gassy.  She is a great eater and has been doing really good with her occasional bottle from Daddy.  She likes to play in her ocean gym, but probably her favorite thing to do is to watch Evan run around like a crazy two year old boy.  She recently started batting things with her hands .  She also started cooing and has several different sounds she makes.  She loves, loves, loves her bath every night.

She loves to kick her legs on her changing table.  Just like Evan at this age, the changing table is probably her very favorite place to be.

 

Proof that she isn't always so smiley.  However, I believe that this pouty lip will be used to her advantage as she grows up.  She'll flash it at Daddy and get whatever she wants!

Big Brother and Tummy Time!

Mommy and Daddy keep telling me that I am such a good big brother.  Here I am showing Abby how to play musical instruments.  Don't worry.  I didn't hit her with the drum sticks.

Here is my little sister having some tummy time.  She isn't a huge fan, but Mommy has found some ways to get her to like it.  Here is one...on the couch resting on the Boppy.

Here I am all ready for church and watching my new favorite movie, Cars.  Too bad I haven't watched more than the first half hour.  Whenever we turn it on, we have to go back to the "geginning" (beginning).  I love the first 30 minutes.  It has some good songs. 

I am such a happy kid.  Mommy and Daddy love this picture. 

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny came and left a lot of loot for the kids.

Evan's favorite (as expected) was the BIG truck filled with 100 easter eggs.  He's dumped them on the living room floor a few times.  The eggs might disappear soon...  He LOVES the truck.  And Mom and Dad agree that it is super awesome!

8 Weeks Old!

Where does the time go?  How is this little one already 8 weeks old???

Chunky monkey legs.  Our unofficial weigh in has her between 11.5 and 12 lbs.  We'll find out next week at her 2 month appointment.

I'm sure this could be reported to CPS...but it was too funny to not capture....going...

Whoops!

One of my new words is "whoops".  Here is a big Whoops one weekend morning.  I guess the 2T PJ's might still be a bit too big around the waist!  But the 24 month ones are way too short...

My Sweet Baby Girl

I have taken a ton of pictures of Abby since we hang out all day together while Evan goes to school and Daddy goes to work. I am lucky - she is such a happy baby.  She really only cries when she is tired (way #1001 she is just like her mommy!). 

This picture of her hair is too funny.

She is not quite strong enough for the Bumbo seat yet.  But she's getting close.

Weekend Happenings

Here are some of the Hrach happenings from a few weekends ago.
