Evan's First Swim!

Today Evan went for his first swim after he woke up from his afternoon nap.  Looking cute in his frog swim suit!

This swimming stuff is soooo tiring.  I fell asleep just after dinner while drinking my bottle.  Daddy cut my fingernails and I didn't even flinch!

Mommy's Birthday Party!

Evan hosted a birthday party for Mommy on Sunday.  Here is is helping Aunt Jo and Grandma Candi decorate and trying to figure out what all the fuss was about.  Too funny!   I think in the end he will be a big fan of birthdays like his Mommy!

Evan's Grandma Candi and Aunt Jo were here for this long weekend.  He had a great time hanging out with them.  They both became pros at feeding him, reading to him and playing with him.  It was a wonderful visit!

Can you believe that I'm 6 months?

It is really hard for Brian and I to believe that Evan is 6 months old today.  Wow...to think about how much he's changed and grown since Thanksgiving Day and  how much Brian and I have changed and grown since then because of him. 

We had a couple of spoons of prunes for Evan's 6 month birthday treat.  I'm sure Ms. Irene be so happy we did this around 9 am tomorrow!  Oh and we made a HUGE mess tonight at dinner.  He had his fingers in his mouth about a minute into it, so we had everything everywhere by the end.  I was covered, Evan was covered and the high chair was covered.

Finally caught his trick on camera.  Too funny.  Tonight was the first night wearing the 9 month sleepers.  Probably should have started a few weeks ago based on how well this one fits already!

Evan finally got some Pitt clothes.  Makes Mommy sick.  But he's still cute!  Here are a couple of shots of his chunky legs!  Last weekend he pulled his sock off, his leg went flying down and he just started cracking up at himself.  Too funny.

He's rolling from belly to back with regularity now.  He doesn't quite have the back to belly, but it is coming soon.

Mother's Day and Others

It has been too long since I posted.  Here are some pictures of Evan from a couple of weeks ago.  He changes so much everyday and we're trying not to blink for fear we might miss something.

Check out his toes.  He loves them and has figured out how to put them in his mouth when he's lying down.  Oh and yes, I do know that you aren't supposed to put the Bumbo on an elevated surface.
